Meet our 2009 Outstanding Ex
Mike Rosales has been named the 2009 Outstanding Ex for El Paso High School. A 1961 graduate of the school, Rosales is also a graduate of UTEP with a business degree. He has been active in a multitude of civic and service organizations including the Sun Bowl Football Committee, YWCA Foundation Board, Lulac Project Amistad Board UTEP Alumni Association. He is a founding member of the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. A Vietnam vet, he has been with State Farm Insurance for 38 years. Mike and his wife of 42 years, Carmen have 5 children.
Mike will participate in various Homecoming activities including Eve of the E, Thursday evening, October 1, 2009 at 7 PM in Jones Stadium, a pep rally in CD Jarvis Gym at 2 PM on Friday, October 2, and halftime activities at the game on Friday night.
The El Paso High Alumni Association will honor Rosales with a reception /dinner at 5 PM in the school Library on Friday, October 2, 2009. Reservations for the dinner are $10 and can be made by contacting Susan Macias at 496-8300 or Linda Troncoso at 532-1357.
